Short answer

To remove the visible watermark from your own Sora 2 video: open it here with the Sora 2 preset, scrub through the clip and place a box on each position where the mark appears (two on the free plan, three with Pro), then press Remove watermark. The boxed areas are rebuilt from their surroundings in your browser. Visible marks are only one layer: Sora videos also carry provenance information, and many platforms ask you to label realistic AI video whatever it looks like.

Visible mark vs C2PA credentials

Sora 2 videos carry two kinds of marking. The visible one is the animated logo you can see in the picture; that is what this tool removes, because it is pixels in the frame. The other is C2PA content credentials, provenance data stored in the file that says how the video was made.

This tool does not read, edit or target C2PA data. Because the cleaned video is a newly encoded MP4, metadata from the original file is not carried into it. That is a side effect of re-encoding, the same as exporting from any video editor, not a feature. If you post AI-generated video where the platform requires a label, label it.

When the Sora mark moves

A moving mark is handled with several static boxes: each box is rebuilt on every frame, whether the mark is inside it at that moment or not. On a calm background that is invisible; on a detailed one, the empty boxes show as slightly smoothed areas. Keep each box just large enough for the mark.

  1. Open the clip and pick the Sora 2 preset (two starting boxes).
  2. Play or scrub until the mark jumps; drag a box onto each position.
  3. Pro users can add a third box for a third position.
  4. Clean, compare the enlarged corner, and redo with tighter boxes if needed.

Use it on your own work

Good reasons: you made the video, you are editing it into a longer piece, and the moving logo distracts from the cut; or you are archiving your own generations. Bad reasons: passing someone else’s clip off as yours, or presenting AI video as real footage. The remover does not check what you clean, so that judgement is yours.

Questions

Can this remove the Sora 2 watermark for free?

Yes, from your own clips: 3 videos a day up to 1080p with two boxes, no account needed, and nothing added. A third box, 4K and unlimited videos are in Pro.

Does it remove C2PA or other provenance data?

It does not look for or edit it. The output is a new MP4 encoded in your browser, so original file metadata is not copied. Label AI-generated video where a platform or the law asks you to.

Why use several boxes?

Because the visible mark can change position during a clip. Each box covers one position for the whole clip.

Will the areas without a mark look different?

They are rebuilt too, so on fine detail they can look slightly softer. On skies and soft backgrounds the difference is hard to see.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Decoding, cleaning and encoding all happen in your browser. Only the free-export counter talks to our server.

Is this affiliated with OpenAI?

No. This is an independent tool and has no connection with OpenAI or Sora.

Your rights, your call

Only clean videos you made yourself or have the rights to edit. Removing a visible mark does not change who owns a clip, what the generator’s terms allow, or a platform’s rules about labelling AI-generated content.
