Privacy Policy
How Free Video Watermark Remover handles your videos and your data. Your videos are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
This policy explains what Free Video Watermark Remover (freevideowatermarkremover.com) collects and why. It is short because we collect very little.
Your videos and images stay on your device
Videos and images are opened, cleaned and saved inside your browser using WebCodecs and Canvas. The file is never uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store or share its contents. The boxes you draw are not sent to us either; only their count travels with the free-export request.
You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab and clean a video. You will see the page scripts load and one tiny request that counts your free video, but no upload of the file. Step-by-step instructions are on the about page.
What we store
- Daily free-export counter. To give everyone 3 free videos a day, we keep a counter per day. It is tied to your account, or, if you are not signed in, to a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store the raw IP address for this purpose. Counters expire after two days.
- Account email. If you create an account, we store your email address, a hashed password and basic account details so you can sign in.
- Subscription status. If you subscribe to Pro, we store your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
Services we use
- Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its database, and may process standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect it.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to keep you signed in. The remover works without an account and without these cookies.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which removes your email and account data from our database. Stripe may keep payment records as required by law. To ask a question or request deletion, email support@freevideowatermarkremover.com.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
